Job Title: Application Developer - Land

Education/Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years working in Oil and Gas, and Oracle and P2/IFS experience required
As an Application Developer for Land, you will partner with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test and implement features and code, mainly supporting the P2/IFS Land application. You will assist business analyst in understanding application features to achieve their business goals and collaborate with Database Administrators to ensure optimal application performance.
Job Description & Responsibilities :
- Designs, codes, tests, and delivers robust and insightful business solutions for highly complex projects
- Use development tools such as Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher and, Database Utilities.
- Create data conversions into the application that ensure data integrity and accuracy using IFS and Oracle APIs. Unix/Linux environments for scripting and application management
- Creates and maintains comprehensive technical documentation, including process flows, user manuals, and integration specifications
- Fulfills customer requirements according to project/enhancement specifications
- Applies team coding, documenting and testing standards and recommend process improvements
- Works closely with functional teams, to align technical solutions with business strategies
- Cultivates and manages relationships with software suppliers and other third parties to ensure timely and cost-effective customer support
- Anticipates the impact of a change or project across multiple systems
- Supports activities related to acquisitions and divestitures, including data extractions, data mapping, conversions, interfaces, custom objects, and reporting
- Software Development Life Cycles (e.g., SDLC)
- Regularly monitor system performance and conduct maintenance activities to ensure optimal operation
- Data modeling principles and practices (ERD, Normalization, Schema Design and Data Integrity)
Skills & Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years working in Oil and Gas, and Oracle and P2/IFS experience required
- Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or Business
- Deep knowledge of P2/IFS Land required
- Deep understanding of land contractual compliance and obligations
- Experiences in assisting users to accurately inventory acreage, obligations, and mass changes to leases
- Experience preferred Oracle Enterprise Business Suite Release R12 required
- Oracle Database 19c and up and SQL*Loader Utilities
- Experience with other P2/IFS modules such as Enterprise Upstream Revenue required
- Overall product/module integration experience
- Experience in P2/IFS and Oracle system implementations & upgrades
